We make our students not only to learn education from our college, but we provide them a way to experience of serving the society through NSS.
Our college started to serve people through NSS from the year 1999.
Every year we made our students to learn and help the society.
Our college NSS holds the powerful team with two units of students.


Every year our college NSS team set a 7 days special camp at nearby villages and succeeds in serving through following ways...

  1. Educating village children with latest technology
  2. Planting saplings to illustrate the importance of trees with human life. And succeeds planting 200 saplings every year at a single village.
  3. Performing more number of activities in the village area to spread the awareness among uneducated people.
  4. Helping people through conducting free general medical checkup camp, Eye checkup camp and vet nary checkup camp for their cattles.
  5. Spreading awareness through active stage performance and street play to make them aware of latest issues and their solutions.

Every year we make our students to organize a trekking camp to make the students to set null to pollution not only in the village but also in the forest.

Regular Activity

  • Regular activity is conducted for NSS volunteers in our college campus every week.
  • In these activities, our NSS volunteers are learning to do field work, self development, personality enhancement trainings.
  • Quiz programmes are conducted for NSS volunteers to improve their knowledge.
  • Communication skill development activities such as debate, Group discussion also conducted to improve their carrier.

Blood Donors club

Our college NSS students maintaining Blood donors club to donate blood 24 hrs a day.

Every year our college NSS team actively donating 200 units of blood in and around the city through “Blood Donors club”.

Conducting rally for every special day like, Literacy day, World environment day, AIDS awareness day, Forest day, NSS day, Independence Day, Republic day. To spread awareness among people.

An inspiring ecological initiative of Isha Foundation project, seeks to prevent and reverse environmental degradation and enable sustainable living. This motive of The Isha was supported by our eminent NSS volunteers through their active participation and indefatigableness. The project aims to create 10% additional green cover in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Our volunteers also participated in environment awareness programme.

PSG Tech and Anna university of Coimbatore together organized a three days environmental programme “GO GREEN” from 27th to 29th may, 2011 in Ooty, with a motto to eradicate the usage of unwanted plastic items and to remove plastic waste from key areas.
