Anti Ragging Cell
The college has a zero tolerance policy towards ragging – related matters. All
issues in this regard are dealt with utmost urgency and stringent action is taken
against those who are involved directly and indirectly.
NSS, YRC, RRC, Natures club
Units of NSS, YRC, RRC, Natures club are actively functioning in the college. Blood
donations, social services and environmental campaigns are regularly conducted.
Women’s cell
The college has constituted a women’s cell for protecting and promoting the welfare
of the lady students. The cell endeavors to alleviate the negative forces that are
confronted by women, both on the campus and off the campus. The women’s cell handles
issues related to women’s welfare and organizes speeches, seminars and workshops on
related matters by inviting eminent personalities and conducting competitions
designed to showcase their talents, to boost their confidence and to identify their
strength and weaknesses
.
Physical Education
The department of physical education was established in the year of 1998. The
department of physical education is encouraging the sports activities of the
students. A fully functional gymnasium with a wide range of fitness equipments and
outdoor games like football, basketball, volleyball etc., are available for the
students. The department has all the necessary equipments which enable the students
to undergo regular practice for improving their dexterity and performance. The
department hosts Bharathiar University Inter-Collegiate B-Zone Football Tournament
every year.
Court Facilities for Football, Cricket, Ball Badminton, Kabaddi, Volleyball and
Indoor Games like Carom & Chess, Table Tennis etc., are available for the students.
